I am married and have 3 grown sons. I have lived most of my life in Tulsa, Ok. I am a veteran of the United States Army. On August 1, 1997, I retired from the Tulsa Police Department as a Police Major/Division Commander after almost 29 years of service. .
After retiring, I worked for Decisionone Corp. as the Education Manager for all their United States and Canada offices. I was the department head for all technical training and had offices in Tulsa and Fraser, Pennsylvania.
After leaving Decisionone Corporation I opened my own business and conduct training and consulting on workplace violence issues. I also facilitated meetings all over the United States for the Department of Justice. I was also a consultant for them. I have been a counselor and have taught college as well.
I am a Tulsa Zoo Docent and volunteer for the Education Department where I do educational programs at the zoo and all over the State of Oklahoma using live animals. I have also been a volunteer reading tutor for Elementary age children.
I have a Bachelors of Science Degree from Northeastern State University in Criminal Justice with minors in Business Management, Industrial Technology and Safety Education, where I graduated with honors. I am also a graduate of the FBI National Academy in Quantico, Virginia.
My hobby is photography. I usually do outdoor nature photo's but recently I have branched out and do a variety of photographs. I completed the Tulsa Community College Photography Career Development Program and received my Certificate in April 2009. I donate my time and work as a photographer for different organizations and individuals as well as sell some of my work. I am a published author and also have had many photographs published nationally.
