Kyle Chaufty has been a freelance photographer since graduating from the Oklahoma School of Photography in 2006. His past experience as a band road manager and musician sparked an intense interest in photojournalism from a live music standpoint. He enjoys capturing the emotion and excitement portrayed in music whether it is from the musicians or the fans.

By combining his two passions music and photography, Kyle strives to provide his audience the pure "essence" of the music. Kyle has been published for his work with several bands ranging from live shots to CD covers and press photos. His creative use of subject placement, perspective and contrast of elements gives his photographs a unique energy. Currently, Kyle resides in Oklahoma City and is a photographer for the Oklahoma Department of Human Services.
