I have always enjoyed photography but raising four children and working did not leave much time to play. Years ago, I purchased my first SLR camera in a pawn shop in Salt Lake City and soon graduated to a digital camera in 2001. Giving me plenty of options, I have truly enjoyed the digital medium. I love taking pictures of children because their little faces display an array of emotions within seconds and with seven grandchildren, I get lots of practice. I have photographed a number of weddings and work hard to make it a special day to remember for my brides. Photographs are a legacy that we leave to future generations.
I have photographed three of the four Waiting Children Gallery sessions. The one year I did not participate, I was a foster parent to a child waiting to be adopted. That was such a full-filling life experience with a happy ending. He now has a loving family complete with brothers and sisters.
